Java Developer | Gov Project | 3-Month+ | £425 p.d (Inside IR35) | UK-Based Role

Role: Java Developer
Day Rate: £425 p.d (Inside IR35)
Client: UK Gov Department/Consultancy
Location: Hybrid - 2 or 3 days per week in office (Can be based in Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, Blackpool, Newcastle, Glasgow or Cardiff)
Clearance: Must be eligible for SC
Duration: Initial 3 months with likely extension

Futureheads is partnered with a leading tech consultancy that specialises in delivering complex transformation projects within central government.

They're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a significant ongoing programme of work with one of their biggest gov clients.

Essential Requirements:

Worked as a Developer on a public sector project.
Highly proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, CI/CD, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
Able to set standards, take ownership of work, and oversee less experienced developers.
TDD & BDD
Excellent communication skills and comfortable managing stakeholders in a client-facing environment.
Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
