Java Developer - Backend - Middleware - Amdocs - contract

Our client, a leading Telecommunications company in Scandinavia, is looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend/Middleware Developer with deep expertise in the Telecom domain, and Amdocs Ensemble in particular (Amdocs experience is a must).

Role Overview:

You will be part of a Back End/Middleware team working on large-scale telecom system, focusing on integration, services and Middleware development and enhancements.

Mandatory Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development experience in the Telecom domain
• Strong experience with Amdocs Ensemble
• Java 8 or later
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP)
• Strong background in Middleware/Backend development
• Databases: Oracle/MySQL/MS SQL Server
• Source control: Git/SVN
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Familiarity with Application Servers such as:
• WildFly
• BEA WebLogic
• Tomcat
• IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans

Strong Advantages:

• Deep, hands-on Amdocs Ensemble architecture and development knowledge
• Experience developing Middleware solutions

• Maven
• JUnit
• Mocks/Unit Testing

Frameworks:

• Spring
• Hibernate

Mostly remote working wifh occasional trip to site (several times per year)
