Java Back End TypeScript Developer

Java Back End TypeScript Developer - 6 months + ext. - Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid)

On behalf of one of our key partners, RED now has a new opportunity for a Java Back End TypeScript Developer to join a freelance implementation project. This is an initial 6-month contract with high likelihood of extension, based in Barcelona, starting immediately.

The role is hybrid, with 1 or 2 days per week onsite in Barcelona and they must speak Spanish; English is a plus.

Specific skills/experience required:

• Strong experience in Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, Docker, Cypress, and Microservices
• Proven ability to review and clean up legacy code, and propose modern, scalable enhancements
• Front-end collaboration using React
• Experience with test automation (Cypress) and continuous integration environments
