Italian Credit Control Clerk

Robert Half are recruiting an Italian or French speaking Accounts Receivable Clerk on a permanent basis in Swindon. You will take ownership of the receivables for two Italian sites, supporting the business in collecting cash, managing risk and keeping customer relationships strong. Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for a range of duties including but not limited to:

• Taking ownership of two Italian sites and their AR ledgers
• Managing the collection of country receivables
• Setting up new customers
• Assessing and managing risk on credit lines
• Holding debtor ageing meetings with local customer service teams, sales and finance controllers, discussing customer status and helping where needed
• Reporting weekly debtor data, including actual and projected bad debt
• Managing month-end close and completing reconciliations between Accounts Receivable and the General Ledger
• Completing weekly GL uploads
• Partnering with other functions across the European SSC

Key Requirements:

• Fluent Italian or French language skills.
• Previous experience in a Finance or Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role, preferably within an international company.
• Strong communication and customer relationship management skills.
• Proven ability to manage collections, resolve account queries and reduce overdue debt.
• Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
• Experience in a shared service or multinational environment is beneficial.

Benefits:

• £30,000 - £35,000 base salary.
• Office based during the initial training period
• Following successful completion of training, hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
• 28 days annual leave + bank holidays.
