Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits

What you'll do

To be part of a Secure IT team acting as a primary point of contact for the effective day to day management of a wide range of systems across a complex deployment of secure networks. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, administer, and secure the infrastructure focusing on virtual environments and associated technologies.

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of all IT related infrastructure
• Act as a technical escalation point for IT Systems Analysts and Administrators
• Install and test new/updated IT applications
• Work with the IT Infrastructure Lead and internal stakeholders to produce and update system designs
• Act as point of contact for technical related matters for Internal/External stakeholders & 3rd party suppliers
• Increase IT team productivity using automation techniques
• Support maintenance of ISO27001 accreditation for all secure sector systems

Who you are

• Advanced Linux (CentOS, Debian, RHEL) & Windows System Administration
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization (VMWare)
• Good logical diagnostic skills: ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Experience of implementing IT Security Policies
• Ability to test and deploy new technologies to integrate and enhance existing systems
• Computer Science or IT based degree or equivalent industry experience
• Proactive, self-motivated, and be able to keep up with the rapid pace of ICT
• Eligible and willing to go through DV clearance
