IT System Administrator (f/m/d)
Infrastructure - network, firewall, storage
The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) department manages around 900 PC workstations for the city administration, Kehl Technical Services and schools. WE OFFER

YOUR TASKS

• Administration, support and maintenance of the existing IT infrastructure (server, storage, virtualization, backup)
• Configuration of network components (routing, switching)
• Administration of firewall and VPN gateways
• Ensuring network security
• Analysis of network systems and optimization of the existing network landscape
• Collaboration in the implementation of IT projects

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies in computer science/information technology or comparable training with many years of professional experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the diverse areas of IT system administration
• Very good knowledge of the network environment (switching, routing, WLAN, VLAN, VPN) and experience in structuring and managing networks and firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet)
• Ideally experience with storage systems (NetApp) and practical experience with server systems and virtualization solutions
• A confident, confident manner as well as good communication skills, flexibility, resilience and experience in dealing with employees from all departments and hierarchical levels
• Class B driving license
