IT Support Technician (SC)

IT Support Technician (SC) - Contract - Bristol - £180.00 per day

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for an IT Support Technician to work at a leading consultancy client of ours on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will be a key point of contact on a busy site, with a focus on resolving technical queries at first-line level and taking responsibility for the status of assets and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage service requests as they arise, and respond to and resolve incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Manage and maintain onsite stock, including inventory control and regular audits.
• Perform hardware builds and configuration tasks as required.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards.
• Collaborate closely with the operational Team Manager on all relevant matters onsite.

Experience required:

• A background in IT support, and proven experience in a technical engineering support role, ideally gained within a fast-moving and dynamic environment.
• Previous experience of managing assets and logging the status of IT assets/hardware would be preferable
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and stock management processes is desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Due to the nature of the client, it would be an advantage for candidates to hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo, a certain level of security clearance (SC).
