IT Support Engineer

SC Cleared Support IT Engineer

We are working to acquire a range of Support Engineers across the UK to support with a large migration project. You must be SC cleared to apply for this role. Please see the locations available at the bottom of this post.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ticket Management: Efficiently manage and update assigned support tickets for your hub and surrounding areas, ensuring service levels are met according to contractual agreements.
• Stock & Asset Management: Oversee hub stock, including the precise scanning and tracking of IT equipment as it moves in and out of locations, adhering to contractual obligations.
• Disposal Management: Effectively manage the disposal process for IT assets passing through your hub, in line with established contractual procedures.
• Hardware Repair & Vendor Liaison: Diagnose and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment. You'll also be responsible for coordinating with vendors for parts procurement and returns as per contract.
• Locker Replenishment: Manage and replenish IT equipment lockers as needed and specified by contractual agreements.
• Service Improvement: Proactively identify and highlight potential service issues or opportunities for service improvement to your Team Leader.
• Process Adherence: Diligently follow all agreed-upon processes and procedures, including site-specific regulations and internal guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Strong understanding of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience with asset and stock management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) best practices is a plus.
• SC Clearance required
