Job Description

IT SUPPORT ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY WITH A LEADING GLOBAL SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IN STOKE-ON-TRENT.

IT Support Engineer role with experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.Attractive benefits package.Up to £30,000 per annum. Full onsite requirement with shift pattern.

IT Support Engineer roleOur client seeks an adept IT Support Engineer to install and configure hardware and software seamlessly. You'll act as an escalation point, collaborating with third-line teams, and ensure support meets targets and standards. Primarily focusing on UK operations, you'll thrive in a dynamic environment, providing backup to external offices. Diverse skills are sought to navigate evolving technology. You'll play a key role in onsite support, covering 07:00 to 22:00 shifts.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Experience as an IT Support Engineer.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Technical ability supporting and maintaining hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Experience of using a ticketing system, such as Remedy.
  • Experience deploying, imaging, and supporting Windows 10, macOS, CentOS and mobile devices.
  • Experience supporting technologies from a diverse product stack including AD, Exchange, Office, Teams, Citrix, Cisco, and VMWare Workstation.
