Role ProfileThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing education focused IT Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role is based full time at Leighton Park School, an outstanding co - educational private school for both day and boarding pupils (boys and girls) in Reading. Leighton Park pride themselves on consistently delivering a leading values-driven education in a family-feel environment - with excellent results. There are currently over 550 pupils aged 11 to 18 at the School
Day-To-Day ResponsibilitiesAs part of the inTEC managed services team, you will be working at the school to deliver first class IT support services to staff and pupils. You will undertake a broad range of IT support tasks, primarily end user support, but to include systems maintenance of servers, network and Wi-Fi, and cloud hosted systems. You will be a key member of the onsite IT team, also working closely with the inTEC Service Manager, plus relevant staff at the school.

- Able to prioritise in a busy working environment
- 2+ years of experience in similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications
- Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac OSX)
- Google G Suite for Education experience
- Apple product experience (including hardware, macOS and iOS)
- Basic Networking skills (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, wireless)
- Experience of supporting services in the cloud (e.g. SaaS)
- Previous experience working in a school
- Web & E-mail Security in regards to child safeguarding
