Role Profile

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing education focused IT Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role is based full time at Leighton Park School, an outstanding co - educational private school for both day and boarding pupils (boys and girls) in Reading. Leighton Park pride themselves on consistently delivering a leading values-driven education in a family-feel environment - with excellent results. There are currently over 550 pupils aged 11 to 18 at the School

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

As part of the inTEC managed services team, you will be working at the school to deliver first class IT support services to staff and pupils. You will undertake a broad range of IT support tasks, primarily end user support, but to include systems maintenance of servers, network and Wi-Fi, and cloud hosted systems. You will be a key member of the onsite IT team, also working closely with the inTEC Service Manager, plus relevant staff at the school.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience in similar role
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications
• Good knowledge of desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows, Mac OSX)
• Google G Suite for Education experience
• Apple product experience (including hardware, macOS and iOS)
• Basic Networking skills (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, wireless)
• Experience of supporting services in the cloud (e.g. SaaS)
• Previous experience working in a school
• Web & E-mail Security in regards to child safeguarding
