Job Title: IT Risk and Control Manager

Annual Salary/Benefits: 40,000-45,000 plus excellent benefits (Bonus, Pension, Annual Leave, etc.)

Location: Belfast City Centre, hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH - choose your WFH days)

Client: Private sector - Finance

Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours pw, typically Mon-Fri / 8.30-5)

Summary: IT Risk and Control Manager role providing management oversight and governance of Technology Risks and Controls globally as required by the firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the implementation of the IT risk management framework and process through supporting the implementation of the firm's Enhanced Risk Management Framework (ERMF) globally.
• Manage and support risk reporting for core IT processes and provide regular group risk reports covering these KPIs/KRIs globally.
• Maintain and ensure Technology policies comply with Group standards and ensure policy amendments/changes are carried out in accordance with the relevant governance bodies.
• Prepare and support the Technology Risk Forum as part of risk governance structure and provide support to the regional Risk Committees for Technology owned data.
• Maintain the risk register (Riskonnect) with control requirements, control attestations, control assurance, issue-action and event management for the function and to appropriate stakeholders and risk owners.
• Manage and support the management of controls development, attestation, remediation plans and assurance program to demonstrate oversight and management of key controls.
• Support and partner to develop new & enhance existing tools to demonstrate controls oversight within the 1st Line of Defence.
• Support internal & external Technology audits with preparation, remediation, validation and management response.

Experience / Competences

• Solid IT experience in Financial Services
• Solid IT Risk & Control experience/exposure in Operational Risk environment
• Proven track record working in Risk Management / IT functions
