IT Project Manager, 12 - 18 month contract, hybrid role based in City of London.

Requirements:
  • You must have solid experience and a proven track record of delivering end-to-end desktop upgrades within medium to large organisations (essential).
  • Comfortable working in Waterfall, Agile & Hybrid project management methodologies.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of using ServiceNow SPM tooling.
Role Description:

We are initiating the Windows 11 deployment across the business and need an experienced Desktop Roll Out / EUC Project Manager to lead this project.

The main focus will be leading and supporting the Windows 11 project team in delivering the OS upgrade for our global physical and virtual estate, including upgrading laptops, desktops, VDI operating systems to Windows 11, and hardware updates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and desktop upgrade deployments, with proven experience in implementing and rolling out global desktop refreshes to approximately 2000 users. You should be capable of delivering global projects efficiently, ensuring planning, management, oversight, and communication meet business expectations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end Windows 11 upgrade across the global organisation.
  • Create high-quality delivery solutions that meet business requirements and ensure smooth change management.
  • Define project scope, priorities, timelines, milestones, plans, RAID, resource plans, and deliverable schedules with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with various teams across the organisation to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and assist in creating resolution proposals.
  • Facilitate discussions and decision-making among project stakeholders.
  • Provide clear progress updates and maintain transparency within the team.
  • Monitor and report on project status.
  • Assist in managing the project budget and expenditures.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodology, governance, reporting, and risk management standards.
