IS Project Manager - CLM Implementation
The role oversees the full CLM tool selection process, including defining evaluation criteria, managing RFP/RFI cycles, assessing vendors, and negotiating contracts while ensuring alignment with enterprise compliance and scalability needs.
It leads end-to-end CLM project delivery-developing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing configuration, integrations, testing, data migration, change management, and ensuring successful deployment and stabilization.
Additionally, the role serves as the primary stakeholder interface, maintains comprehensive project documentation, enforces compliance with legal and security standards, and governs scope through formal change control.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as an IT/IS Project Manager, with a proven track record of leading enterprise SaaS software implementation projects (CLM, contract management, or legal tech implementation experience is highly preferred).
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise software tool selection and RFP/RFI processes for business-critical applications, including vendor evaluation and negotiation.
Hands-on experience with project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) and collaboration platforms.
Working knowledge of CLM core functionalities, contract life cycle processes, and common integrations (CRM, ERP, e-signature tools like DocuSign/Adobe Sign).
Strong understanding of IT project governance, risk management, budget management, and change management principles.
Direct experience implementing major CLM platforms (eg, Coupa Contract Lifecycle Management, Icertis, Agiloft, Conga Contracts, SAP Ariba Contracts).
Experience working with legal, finance, and procurement teams on contract compliance and process optimization.
Exceptional leadership, cross-functional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
