IT Project Leader (German)

We are supporting a leading private bank in Luxembourg that is looking for an IT Project Leader to oversee and manage critical IT initiatives within their organization.

In this position, you will coordinate and control project timelines, monitor progress and changes, and ensure smooth project execution in line with internal standards. You will act as the central link between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and transparent reporting across all phases of delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating IT projects end-to-end
• Defining and clarifying project scope, deliverables, and schedules
• Identifying project needs and allocating resources effectively
• Coordinating cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, and motivating key contributors
• Ensuring adherence to the internal Project Delivery Framework
• Monitoring progress, controlling risks, and managing necessary changes
• Producing project documentation and status reports for all stakeholders

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager within the financial services sector
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Solid organizational abilities and a structured working style
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and JIRA
• Analytical and critical thinking mindset
• Fluency in German (C1 level) is required; English or French are an advantage
• Experience with Avaloq Core Banking software is a plus

This is a Full time contract based in Luxembourg, starting as soon as possible, for a duration of 12 months, with a 100% workload .
