My client is seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager with public sector experience, possessing the skills, mindset, and potential to support their strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and support Opportunity Assessment Reviews through activities like data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and report development.
• Research and apply best practices to develop innovations that deliver cost improvements and benefits.
• Follow engagement-specific benefits realization processes, ensuring benefits are identified, supported, and achievable.
• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and escalate issues when support is needed.
• Lead or support savings initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing, product development, and innovation within the category group.
• Identify opportunities for up-selling and support the development of propositions and business cases.
• Utilize tools and methodologies for procurement processes, transformation, and change activities.
• Manage multiple workstreams within projects, including planning, reporting, and risk management.
• Support larger projects through PMO activities as needed.
• Administer contract management and SRM principles to ensure performance management.

Required Skills:

• IT Procurement Experience
• Public Sector Experience
• Proven track record in Cost Saving projects with measurable results (stats, money saved, % under budget)
• Strong organizational skills and effective time management across multiple engagements
• Understanding of the project management cycle and supporting methodologies
