New Job Alert - IT Account Manager - Technology Services

Location: South East (Hybrid working)

Salary: £48,000 - £51,000 + £4,000 car allowance | Commision Plan OTE £70,000 - £80,000

Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | Flexible hours

I'm recruiting on behalf of a growing technology provider looking for an experienced IT Account Manager to join their team. You'll work closely with clients to support their Digital Transformation and deliver an excellent customer experience.

The Role:

You'll be the trusted advisor for your client portfolio, building strong relationships and presenting detailed technology roadmaps during face-to-face meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs). You'll work alongside technical and solutions teams to spot new commercial opportunities, gather client feedback, and improve overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct QBRs and face-to-face client meetings

  • Create and present detailed technology roadmaps with commercial insights

  • Communicate technology and company updates to clients clearly and confidently

  • Handle client account queries and proactively act on feedback

  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide accurate and up-to-date advice

  • Stay current with industry trends and product developments


Essential (Must Have):

  • 4+ years' experience in IT Account Management or Customer Success, ideally within an MSP or similar environment

  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Antivirus, and security solutions (EDR, MFA, antispam)

  • Proven ability to engage and present to C-level stakeholders

  • Confident communicating complex technical concepts in a simple way

  • Ability to translate business goals into actionable technology roadmaps

  • Full UK driving licence and own car


Desirable:

  • Experience working within a technology services or MSP environment

  • Strong commercial awareness and track record hitting KPIs
