Job Description
The key responsibilities include delivering the digital and IT strategy, architecture, and technology plans for the organisation. You will understand and consider the digital and IT needs of all stakeholders (members, candidates, senior management, ops staff, and corporate customers) and will lead and develop partnerships and relationships that support and help deliver the company's Digital and IT strategy in the marketplace. This involves researching and identifying new Digital and IT opportunities to advance the business into the digital age.
You will have primary responsibility to ensure the IT infrastructure supports the organisation's aims. Your tasks include making strategic technology decisions, managing budgets effectively to execute projects timely, and overseeing all systems, processes, and policies. You will manage a diverse group of stakeholders across the business with the objective of driving innovation in a fully digital service environment.
Additional responsibilities include procurement, overseeing the development and maintenance of the global website, central databases, internal applications, and platforms, including setting up business management reports in Power BI. You will lead data security and management protocols, ensuring full compliance with GDPR regulations, risks, and future updates. Creating and maintaining a business continuity plan for IT systems will also be part of this contract.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed in this IT leadership contract, you should have demonstrated experience managing standard IT infrastructure environments, with additional experience across websites, CRM, and business intelligence systems. Strong stakeholder management skills, experience in process, policy, budget management, and governance are essential. You should also be adept at managing third-party vendors.
