About the Role

Join our Maintenance Service Centre as an IT Hardware Repair & Configuration Operative, where you'll play a key role in ensuring IT equipment is inspected, repaired, and prepared to the highest standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, supporting the full life cycle of IT hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Asset Management: Track and manage all incoming assets, ensuring accurate location records and resolving discrepancies.
• Device Processing: Inspect, test, clean, and configure IT equipment including laptops, desktops, screens, handheld and mobile devices.
• Ticket Handling: Organise and manage service tickets in the company system, ensuring timely updates.
• Hardware Preparation: Prepare new and repaired hardware for deployment.
• Workflow Management: Maintain a clean, organised workspace and eliminate backlogs to meet SLAs.
• Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and escalate issues promptly to supervisors.
• Continuous Improvement: Support 6S implementation and process improvements across the workshop.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience supporting IT hardware (hardware and software level).
• Strong administration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications; ITIL experience preferred.
• Ability to gain OEM and standard IT accreditations.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workload.
• Flexible, proactive, and collaborative approach.
