Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICT support / field engineer to join our established and growing team on a full time basis, covering a wide range of ICT duties for a specialist Education focused managed service provider.

Responsibilities

Provide support and consultancy by telephone, remote support and on-site on a day to day basis.
Attend daily site visits in Thurrock and Basildon areas and possibly further afield on rare occasions.
Travel as required, with use of a car and a full UK driving licence.

Requirements

1+ year relevant experience.
A full UK driving licence and vehicle.
An Enhanced DBS (the cost of which will be met by the employer).
Strong understanding and experience with current Windows Server products and services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
Strong administration and maintenance experience with Microsoft 365, including Office 365, Intune, Google Education, etc.
Desktop and Server hardware upgrade/installation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of up-to-date Windows desktop operating systems and applications.
Experience with helpdesk systems (managing and responding to support requests with SLAs).
Good networking experience (TCP/IP topologies, switches, routers).
Security solutions (Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Firewalling, UTM).
Onsite and offsite backup and recovery services and procedures.
