Job Description

We're looking for a forward-thinking Team Manager to lead the primary customer facing team within the IT Services, focusing on business relationship management, service desk and training. You will work collaboratively to ensure we continue to provide customer focused services and play a pivotal role in delivering, supporting and helping develop Council strategies.
Using your skills and experience in project and delivery management, you will take the lead and advise on organisation-wide, cross-functional projects which will drive transformation across the Council, Flintshire's schools, and as part of collaborative partnerships, identifying and supporting on process improvement whilst meeting evolving technology and business needs.
Providing leadership and direction to multiple IT teams, you'll be committed to service excellence, ensuring that performance standards are upheld and maintained, including leading on the delivery of first-line support and training.
If you're a highly motivated individual with a strong technology background who can successfully develop and maintain trusted and valued relationships at all levels in a multi-stakeholder environment, this role could be the one for you.
Formal interviews will be held on 25th July 2025.
Welsh speaking and writing skills are desirable.
