The Ireland Finance Manager - Controller will report to the EMEA Controller and will be the key contact for several stakeholders within the country for all Finance matters. The role interfaces with Local Governance Leaders, EMEA/Global Finance Leaders, and External Finance partners. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse people around the world and make an impact by enabling better, smarter, safer healthcare to improve lives.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the activities of the Local Finance organization
  • Produce accurate and timely financial statements (income statement and balance sheet) in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local laws for all Ireland legal entities
  • Work closely with the BPO team to ensure smooth transition of assigned activities and resolve gaps and challenges
  • Oversee the country statutory financial statement preparation for the Irish legal entities
  • Collaborate with Treasury and Tax Operations on country-specific matters
  • Manage timely, clear, and concise communication of material items impacting the finance results to the Global GSC organization
  • Support the Finance Global team for projects involving Ireland entities
  • Serve as Solventum liaison for audit, tax, and financial regulatory bodies
  • Support the Country Governance team and represent the Finance function in the Leadership team
  • Coordinate with PwC as needed
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university
  • 7-10 years of experience with Finance Organization and 3 years in accounting process
  • Leadership experience in managing/coordinating teams
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaboration with different stakeholders at all levels
  • Pragmatic, results-oriented with strong bias toward executing with speed, agility, and quality
  • Outstanding integrity, initiative and passion
  • Knowledge of SAP & Oracle environments
  • Fluent English
Additional qualifications
  • Experience in the MedTech Industry
  • Knowledge of any EMEA language (other than English)
