Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Shared Services Lead-EMEA. The Shared Services Lead - EMEA is responsible for building and managing the regional infrastructure that supports construction, commissioning, and technical field operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
This role drives operational excellence, standardization, compliance, cost efficiency, and service delivery performance across core functions including Finance, HR, Procurement, Payroll, IT Support, and Administrative Services across multiple jurisdictions. The position supports fast-paced project environments including hyperscale data center clients, construction companies and manufacturers.
The position partners closely with regional leadership and global stakeholders to ensure consistent service delivery, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational strategy.
Key Responsibilities- 1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the EMEA Shared Services strategy aligned with global objectives
- Build and scale a regional shared services model to support business growth
- Identify automation and digital transformation opportunities
- Establish KPIs, SLAs, and performance dashboards
- 2. Operational Excellence
- Standardize processes across multiple EMEA countries
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, process re-engineering)
- Ensure service quality, timeliness, and cost control
- Lead ERP and systems integration initiatives
- 3. Financial Management
- Oversee regional financial impact of shared services operations
- Drive cost optimization and budget management
- Monitor working capital metrics (AP/AR efficiency, payroll accuracy, etc.)
- 4. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory reporting across EMEA jurisdictions
- Manage audit processes and internal controls
- Mitigate operational and financial risk
- 5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with country managers and functional leaders
- Serve as escalation point for service-related issues
- Drive high customer satisfaction across internal business units
- 6. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing, multicultural regional team
- Develop succession planning and talent pipelines
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement
- Operational scalability, regulatory compliance, financial control, and workforce administration
- Support country launches and legal entity setup
- HR Administration & Payroll
- Finance Operations Support (AP, AR, GL, Treasury Support)
- Procurement & Vendor Management
- Contract Administration, Compliance Documentation & Reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Legal or related field
- 5+ years of EMEA multi-country experience in Shared Services, Finance Operations, Legal or Regional Operations leadership
- Strong understanding of EU labour law, VAT structures, and cross-border compliance.
- Successful background check, including pre-employment drug screening
- Candidate with legal authorization to work in Ireland
