Position Description

This supervisory position is within the Investor Services unit of SEI. You will work closely with other team members to help grow a dedicated team in a high growth area. The role involves interacting with all levels of professionals both internally and externally.

What you'll do
  • Serve as the main daily client operational contact for a number of private market clients.
  • Develop relationships with client contacts including investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors and banking personnel.
  • Supervise staff on systems, processing, procedures and job responsibilities.
  • Train, coach and mentor new employees, developing and motivating staff within the team.
  • Provide input and feedback on employees' ongoing performance and appraisals.
  • Review and approve work performed by analysts.
  • Work closely with the fund accounting team and other Investor Services teams, and assist in crossover duties.
  • Review or prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
  • Review or prepare investor capital statements and relevant calculations.
  • Assist in coordinating annual fund audits.
  • Resolve problems, errors and queries promptly with documentation.
  • Meet all reporting deliverables and enforce adherence to department procedures, service standards and deadlines.
  • Generate ideas and continuously assess and improve the operational service model.
  • Maintain good relationships with external clients and internal relationship managers and business units within SEI.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures.
  • Carry out all duties under the Company's Safety Statement, ensuring health, safety and well being for all employees.
  • Work on projects and ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Ensure succession planning processes are in place and operational.
  • Champion HR policies, ensuring they are applied and maintained.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience in a fund administration role, with at least two years in a private market role.
  • Experience with private market systems, preferably Investran.
  • Strong knowledge of private market structures and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience reviewing limited partnership agreements and operating memorandum.
  • Experience in supervisory skills and coaching/mentoring.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English.
  • Third level degree in finance or related field.
