Job Description

You join the Mirova Private Equity team's Sustainable Ocean strategy as an Investment Manager / Investment Director. The strategy aims to support growing companies on themes of the sustainable blue economy, such as marine resource management, marine pollution reduction, climate change mitigation, and biodiversity preservation. You will contribute to creating value for portfolio companies and participate in exit strategies if necessary. The strategy is global, targeting emerging markets in Asia and Latin America, with investments mainly in equities and supplemented by senior debt.

Daily responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring fund holdings, proposing valuations, and enhancing financial and non-financial company value in collaboration with the senior investment director;
2. Screening opportunities within the ocean strategy, preparing analyses, and conducting due diligences;
3. Negotiating and executing transactions (new investments or divestments) with support from analysts and ESG/impact and legal departments;
4. Supervising junior analysts' work.

The Private Equity team consists of approximately 10 members, with 4 dedicated to the ocean strategy.
