AMG Search is delighted to be working with a leading, well-established wealth management firm to recruit an Investment Manager Director based in Birmingham. This is a senior hire for a business with an outstanding reputation and serious ambitions for growth in the Midlands region.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced, commercially driven Investment Manager to join at Director level and make a real impact, either building a new book from scratch with the full support of the business behind them, or bringing an existing client following to accelerate growth from day one.

The Role

You will be a senior Investment Manager operating at Director level, responsible for building and developing a high net worth client base in the Birmingham area. The firm has strong infrastructure, an excellent investment proposition and a well-established brand to support your business development activity.

This role is for a genuine hunter, someone who is energised by winning new business, building relationships and growing a book. You will have the autonomy to develop your client base your way, with the full resource of a major wealth management firm behind you.

Key Details

• Senior Investment Manager Director level role
• Experience managing a book of £100m plus is highly desirable
• Not required to bring clients, the firm is happy for the right person to build from scratch
• Bringing an existing client following would be a significant advantage
• Charity and endowment investment experience is highly desirable
• Full business development support and infrastructure provided
• Birmingham based with hybrid working

Salary and Package

• Salary up to £140,000
• Bonus scheme in addition to base salary
