Inventory Controller and Business Analyst

Brief Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Controller & Business Analyst to
support inventory management and business reporting across our UK, Ireland & Nordics
operations. This role combines inventory control responsibilities with data analysis, revenue
reporting and dashboard development, to improve data accuracy, operational efficiency, and
decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Quality,
and Sales teams to maintain accurate records, monitor performance, and develop insightful
Power BI dashboards that support business objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for

Key Responsibilities Inventory Control- Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses and storage locations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess
- Support regular stock counts and annual physical inventory activities.
- Process inventory transactions accurately within the ERP system.
- Monitor inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns.
- Assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and provide recommendations.
- Ensure inventory processes comply with company procedures and regulatory
requirements. - Analyse inventory trends, stock turnover, service levels, forecasting accuracy.
- Partner with commercial teams to develop inventory forecast to support sales growth
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Extract, clean, and transform data from ERP systems, Excel, SQL databases, and other
business systems. - Automate recurring reports to improve efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Support users with report interpretation and dashboard enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reporting processes.
- Assist with system improvements and process automation initiatives.
- Document reporting processes and maintain dashboard documentation.
- Promote data quality and reporting best practices.
- Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, Power Query, and advanced
formulas. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. CIN7, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar).
- Understanding of inventory management principles.
- Experience in manufacturing, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
- Knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
- Familiarity with data modelling and business intelligence best practices.
