Sales Manager - Southern Europe (Iberia & Italy)
Location: Flexible within Spain, Portugal, or Italy Travel Required
Are you a strategic, hands-on sales leader ready to make a significant impact in Southern Europe's healthcare space? We're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive direct commercial operations across Spain, Portugal, and Italy- three high-potential markets within the region.
This is a key leadership role responsible for building and leading a high-performing direct sales team, owning commercial strategy, and driving growth across the Iberian and Italian markets. Reporting directly to the SVP of Global Business, you'll be a critical part of an ambitious, fast-growing international organization operating at the forefront of medical innovation.
What You'll Do
Lead Direct Sales Strategy
- Design and execute an ambitious direct sales strategy tailored to Southern European markets.
- Take full ownership of sales performance across Iberia and Italy, ensuring revenue targets are met or exceeded.
- Build and optimize regional sales structures, processes, and tools for scalability and efficiency.
Inspire & Manage Regional Sales Teams
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of direct sales professionals across Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
- Foster a results-driven culture rooted in accountability, professional development, and customer-centricity.
Expand Market Footprint
- Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure market-relevant offerings and local execution.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with marketing, medical, customer support, and product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Champion the voice of the customer to help shape future product and service innovations.
Drive Performance with Insight
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Track key performance metrics and refine sales strategies to maintain alignment with business objectives.
Engage Stakeholders & Customers
- Develop strong relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, institutions, and decision-makers.
- Represent the brand at regional conferences, industry events, and customer meetings.
What We're Looking For
- 8-12 years of sales leadership experience, with a strong focus on direct sales in the medical device or healthcare sector.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding growth targets.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare and regulatory landscape in Iberia and Italy.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A global mindset, with the ability to align local execution with international business goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
