Job Description

The transfusion unit, within the Department of Medicine at the Geneva University Hospitals, includes one of the 11 regional blood transfusion services (SRTS) in Switzerland. The missions of the transfusion unit include supplying the Canton of Geneva with blood products, collecting cells for cellular therapy, and managing transfusion needs. As an internal physician within the transfusion unit, you ensure quality medical care from both a clinical and technical perspective. This activity can be recognized as your ability to work effectively allows you to adhere to internal rules and procedures while ensuring the quality of medical services provided. Your enthusiasm for human contact, teamwork, and interdisciplinary collaboration enables you to contribute to the team. You hold a medical degree or have an equivalent qualification. If your degree is from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your name is listed in the Medical Professions Register (MedReg). You have a team spirit, good interpersonal skills, and demonstrate availability. Clinical experience within the Geneva hospital network is preferred. For non-French speakers, a level of C1 in spoken and written French is required.
