Internal Auditor - Paris, France

Noord Global are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing company based in Paris, France. We are recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join their dynamic, multinational team.

For this role, we are looking for someone who is already working in a similar position or is currently an external audit with a Big 4 or Top 10 firm and looking to make the move to industry. You will have previously worked with clients in manufacturing, industrial or similar sectors.

In this role, you will mainly be involved in financial controls and auditing balance sheets. However, you will also be involved in IT general controls and ad hoc investigations as and when required.

This position has become available due to the current role holder rotating into a senior finance role within the business. This company has an excellent reputation for supporting progression of staff. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to move into another role within the business after 2-3 years within internal audit. You will also receive support to further your education and gain further qualifications such as CFE, CISA and CIA.

This role is for someone who loves to travel as there is a high level of international travel involved in this role! Travel is mostly within Europe (although occasionally you will be required to go further afield to the Americas, Australasia and the Middle East), giving you the opportunity to extend trips into the weekends and take advantage of the chance to see some fantastic locations. When you are not travelling, you are supported to work from home.

Main responsibilities:

• Travel to various locations across Europe (and occasionally further) to complete audits and reviews
• Working at the direction of the Head of Internal Audit, you will plan, execute and report on audits and reviews
• Work in collaboration with other team members and review the work papers of others as appropriate
• Offer recommendations on processes which are realistic, achievable and cost effective
• Working with internal stakeholders to improve business process and internal controls

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• 4+ years Big 4 audit experience
• Willing to travel extensively for work
• Holder of a driving license
• EU passport holder
• English and French language skills (fluent)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
