Job Description

Job Title: Internal Alternative Provision Lead

Location: Derby Cathedral School

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: 1st September 2026

Salary: MPS / UPS + plus TLR1a £10,181.00

  • Ability to deliver lessons in their core specialist subject up to GCSE level, using creative and exciting methods
  • Have basic understanding around the rest of the curriculum as a whole, to deliver lessons where required
  • Ability to promote and reinforce positivity and social development by providing students with access to a variety of resources and new methods of learning
  • Ability to provide and support colleagues with creating targets for development/implementation to show the progress that individual students make academically
