We are currently looking for a student who meets the following criteria

• Bachelor s / Master s in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related studies
• Fluent in English, fluency in Dutch is an advantage
• Experience with for instance Solidworks, Matlab, Python is considered a plus
• Available for minimal 32 hours (preferably 40 hours)

As an intern, you will work in a dynamic Research & Development environment under the supervision of an engineer or scientist in a multidisciplinary team that has expertise in the development of intraocular lenses, process development and metrology.We have multiple projects within our department that you might be interested in of which a few are listed here:

• Improvement and automation of a test setup
• Improvement and re-design of an eye model
• Literature study on market developments
