Intern Data Scientist: International Trade Flows

QuantCube Technology's international trade product provides real-time indicators of global trade activity to a range of economic players, from private investors such as hedge funds and banks, to public institutions. Based on alternative analyses of big data, these indicators make it possible to measure global trade in real time and detect emerging trends likely to have major implications. QuantCube's Macro team is looking for a trainee with a passion for analysing massive data, a problem-solving mindset, knowledge of Machine Learning and a strong interest in geopolitics and international trade.

The tasks you will be working on include:

Creating a trade index tracking automotive trade flows around the world.

Creating a trade balance index for a country.

Playing a key role in the production phase of the indicators.

Preferred Experience

Good level in Python

Strong interest in economics and geopolitics (production and marketing of raw materials in the world)

Knowledge of Machine Learning

Fluency in English

Experience in managing complex or voluminous data is a plus
