Job Summary

The Intermediate Software Developer is responsible for implementing software solutions and contributing to project design and development activities. Reporting to the Director of Line of Business - Management Software, this role supports both standard and specialized projects, delivering high-quality software. The position may also include serving as a Technical Lead on smaller projects, providing opportunities to develop leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement software design and document project sub-components.
  • Provide input to development schedules and contribute to project planning.
  • Participate in risk management activities and issue resolution within project teams.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Support mentorship and guidance for junior developers

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong technical communication and writing skills.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and mentorship abilities.
  • Proactive problem solver with a continuous learning mindset.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage project tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of technical issues within your area of expertise.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Junior Software Developer or equivalent.

Work Location: Hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)
City: Surrey
Type: Full-time, 6 - Months Contract
Salary: $ 90,000 - $115,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
