Job Description

Location: Limerick (site-based, with occasional travel)
Contract: Permanent (subject to successful completion of probation)
Reports To: Associate Director - Surveying

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team delivering large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, and educational. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to advance their career in quantity surveying within a progressive construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Associate Director in managing all commercial aspects of projects
  • Assist with procurement, appointment, and management of subcontractors and suppliers
  • Prepare accurate monthly progress accounts and valuations
  • Monitor project costs, cashflow forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Participate in tender preparation when required
  • Manage final accounts and subcontractor re-measurements
  • Attend monthly cost reporting meetings and provide ad-hoc reports
Skills & Experience Required
  • Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
  • Residential sector experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
