Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer - Building Services Location: London
Salary: Circa £40,000
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: 5 days in the office
Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK

We're working with a well-established and growing Building Services consultancy based in London that's looking to hire an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their close-knit team.

About the Role:

You'll be working on a variety of exciting projects across the commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use sectors . The role will see you involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed delivery.

What You'll Do:

• Design and specification of electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarms, and data
• Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD and other relevant tools
• Work closely with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
• Attend client meetings and support project delivery on time and within budget
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical building services design
• Strong knowledge of UK standards and regulations
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Amtech)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• Right to work in the UK is essential
