Interim Payroll/Change & Transformation/HRIS Consultant - £450 - £600 per day (Inside IR35) - Paddington, London - Hybrid (2 days office 3 home) - 6 months Initially About the Client

About the Job

This interim opportunity is centred on driving transformation across a complex, multi country payroll function. You will focus on improving processes, enhancing systems, and delivering a more efficient, streamlined payroll operation. Working closely with HR, payroll, and external providers, you will play a pivotal role in modernising the current set up.

Duties will include
  • Reviewing/assessing existing global payroll processes to identify inefficiencies and risks
  • Leading transformation initiatives to simplify and standardise payroll procedures
  • Driving improvements across HRIS, with a focus on optimising SuccessFactors usage or potential to look at a new HRIS
  • Reducing reliance on manual processes and spreadsheet heavy workflows
  • Streamlining interactions with multiple international payroll providers
  • Implementing best practice controls, governance, and documentation
  • Supporting automation and system enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Partnering with key stakeholders across HR and finance to align processes
  • Ensuring scalable and sustainable payroll operations to support future growth
About the Successful Applicant

You will be a payroll transformation specialist with strong HRIS expertise. You bring a proven track record of improving global payroll processes within complex organisations, alongside excellent stakeholder engagement skills. A hands on, analytical mindset and the ability to deliver change in fast paced environments are essential.
