Description

• Lead and manage procurement projects to achieve value for money and meet organisational objectives.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational priorities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high standards of service delivery and performance.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on commercial matters to internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on procurement activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.

Profile

A successful Lead Commercial Manager should have:

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the public sector and using public regulations (PA23).
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and suppliers.

Job Offer

• Competitive daily rate of £600 to £700 INSIDE IR35 (Depending on experience)
