Interim Group Tax Director, FTSE Listed business

Working for a large FTSE listed business, this is an interim role for a Group Tax Director on a 6 month FTC. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the tax agenda for the Group across all areas of tax and elevate the tax function to ensure it is partnering with and adding value to the business.

• Develop the tax strategy to ensure compliance and reporting obligations are met, opportunities are realised, and risk is managed
• Provide significant business support - covering major transactions (restructurings, prospective acquisitions), as well as day to day operational tax queries
• Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, advisors and tax authorities

You will be a qualified accountant and/or tax professional with experience across all taxes for a large business. The role requires some UK travel and operates a hybrid model requiring 2 3 days in the office.
