Interim FP&A project

A newly created interim FP&A role within a financial services company, brought in to embed and stabilise a new forecasting model. There's currently no in-house FP&A resource, so you'll take ownership and get the model running smoothly, with proper governance and repeatable processes.What you'll do

• Own, review and improve an existing forecasting / planning model
• Fix "teething issues" and make it robust, usable and scalable
• Set up model governance: controls, checks, version control, audit trail
• Create simple guidance notes / SOPs, so others can update it correctly.
• Run regular forecast updates + scenario analysis and support stakeholders with outputs.

What we need

• Strong FP&A + modelling background (advanced Excel essential)
• Comfortable working independently in a newly created role
• Experience introducing controls, documentation and best practice around models
• Financial services experience is useful, not essential.

Contract

• Hybrid, flexible (Bath based)
• Initial 3-6 months, but length is workload-driven / likely to extend
