Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

FP&A Manager

£400-£500 per day Outside IR35

Hybrid - Central London

An ambitious private equity-backed retail business is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join on an interim basis. With a multi-site footprint and aggressive growth plans, the business requires a commercially-minded finance professional to support enhanced reporting and strategic planning during a critical phase of its investment cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and refine the budgeting and forecasting process across all retail locations
• Produce detailed board packs, including variance analysis and performance commentary
• Manage and optimise cash flow forecasting, ensuring visibility and control over working capital
• Build dynamic financial models to support business planning and investment appraisal
• Business partner with commercial and operational teams to deliver insight-driven decision support
• Support the PE reporting cycle and provide analysis aligned to investor expectations

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong FP&A background within a retail environment (hospitality experience beneficial)
• Previous experience in a private equity-backed or fast-growth setting is highly desirable
• Confident producing and presenting board-level reports
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
