Interim Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract)Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)Salary: £50,000-£60,000 A leading organisation based in Nottingham is seeking a Financial Accountant to support business-as-usual finance operations during a period of system transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a collaborative finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reconciliations to support monthly and quarterly financial reporting
• Manage quarter-end reporting processes for both UK and US entities
• Work with large volumes of data, primarily using Excel
• Support the implementation of a new finance system where capacity allows

Key Requirements:

• Strong Excel skills, confident handling formulas and large datasets
• Solid experience with reconciliations and general ledger processes
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is advantageous
• Background in a complex finance environment (e.g., regulated or multi-entity)
• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred, though not essential
