Interim Finance Manager

Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing organisation seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support its finance function during a key period of transition and growth.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly add value, provide financial leadership, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.

Your new role

• Lead and oversee the finance function.
• Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes.
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance procedures are maintained.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
• Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and statutory reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to senior management.
• Identify and implement process improvements where required.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and key stakeholders.
• Support and mentor finance team members.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance position.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise.
• Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and finance systems knowledge.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Available to start immediately or at short notice.
