Are you a qualified accountant with proven experience in the charity sector?Are you ready to take a pivotal leadership role that will make a real difference? We are seeking an Interim Finance Director to join a well-established charity based in Norwich.
About the Role:
You will report directly to the CEO and lead a small but dynamic finance and IT team. This is a key strategic role where you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and support for the charity's mission.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic financial leadership and support to the CEO and Senior Management Team

Lead and develop the finance and IT team to deliver high-quality financial services

Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance specific to the charity sector

Ensure robust financial controls and systems are in place and adhered to

Support and influence decision-making with clear financial insights and advice

What We're Looking For:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Proven experience working in finance leadership roles within the charity or not-for-profit sector

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively at all levels

Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working model: 3 days per week in the Norwich office, with flexible remote working

Immediate start preferred
