Interim Finance Business Partner

A successful and forward-thinking organisation based in York (YO10) are currently recruiting for an Interim Finance Business Partner to support their team for a 6-month period. On offer is a salary of up to £45,000, alongside flexible working and the chance to make real commercial impact from day one. As an Interim Finance Business Partner, you will be:

• Acting as a strategic partner to operational teams, providing financial insight and challenge
• Preparing detailed analysis to support decision-making
• Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Monitoring performance against budgets and identifying risks or opportunities
• Supporting key business projects and driving improvements
• Liaising across departments to support commercial outcomes

To be successful in this Finance Business Partner role, you will ideally have:

• Experience in a business partnering or commercial finance role
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
• Strong analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel
• A relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience
• A proactive, adaptable approach and confidence working independently
