Are you a senior finance professional ready to take on an Interim Deputy Finance Director role in the Social Housing sector? Do you have experience leading a full finance function through challenging periods, driving motivation, and meeting critical reporting deadlines? Are you available for an immediate start on a 6-month contract?

My client, a well-established Social Housing provider based in Buckinghamshire, is seeking an Interim Deputy Finance Director to join their team at a critical time of year. This role will lead the finance team following the year-end process, managing the transition into Q1 reporting while preparing for the upcoming budgeting cycle.

  • Ensuring compliance with financial controls and maintaining a high standard of financial reporting.
  • Supporting the upcoming budgeting exercise and helping the business plan for the next financial year.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional with strong Housing sector experience. You'll be joining a dedicated team at a time of significant change, offering your leadership expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient process, all which reporting to a highly regarded CFO.

The role is based in Buckinghamshire, with office attendance required once per week, and a quick start is available.

To be considered, please meet the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading a finance team within the Social Housing sector.
  • A strong track record of managing reporting deadlines and driving financial performance.
  • Ability to manage change and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.

Apply now-this opportunity won't last long.
