Interim Credit Controller

Your new company
An established organisation in East Nottingham is looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team on a full-time temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their ledger, building customer relationships and getting results.

Your new role
You'll be working within a supportive team and take responsibility for managing customer accounts and chasing outstanding debt, helping the business maintain healthy cash flow and reduce aged balances. Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Proactive telephone and email credit control
• Managing outstanding and overdue customer balances
• Resolving invoice and payment queries
• Maintaining accurate account notes and records
• Reviewing aged debt and escalating problem accounts
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve disputes
• Building effective relationships with customers
• Supporting general accounts receivable and credit control activity

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Credit Controller or Accounts Receivable professional who is confident speaking with customers and comfortable working within a fast-paced finance environment. You'll need strong communication, organisation and Excel skills, alongside the ability to quickly pick up new systems and processes.

What you'll get in return

• Up to £35,000 equivalent salary, depending on experience
• 37.5-hour working week
• Temporary contract with ASAP start
