London/Hybrid Min. 6-Month Contract Attractive Day Rate

A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced commercial lawyer to join a well-known organisation responsible for managing a significant portfolio of public assets, heritage sites and commercial operations across London.

Unlike many organisations in the not-for-profit sector, this is a highly commercial environment, generating substantial revenue through events, hospitality, partnerships and a diverse range of commercial activities. The legal team sits at the centre of a broad and varied operation, advising on matters that have a genuine public profile and impact.

The role will focus on supporting a large volume of complex commercial contracts, procurement activity and construction-related projects. With several significant tenders and strategic projects planned over the coming years, the successful candidate will play a key role in helping the organisation deliver its commercial objectives.

Applicants should be qualified lawyers with at least 5 years' PQE and strong commercial contracts experience. Exposure to public procurement and/or NEC4 construction contracts is essential. The team is open to candidates from either private practice or in-house backgrounds, provided they can offer pragmatic, commercially focused advice and quickly integrate into a busy legal function.
