Lead complex and high-risk procurements, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023.
Improve supplier performance and post-award contract management through SLAs and KPIs.
Drive procurement system and process transformation to improve efficiency and usability.
Provide leadership and development for Category Managers.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to enhance customer service and procurement outcomes.
Represent the organisation at external procurement and industry events.
MCIPS qualified or actively working towards it.
Significant experience in managing diverse procurement categories (CapEx & OpEx).
Proven ability to deliver strategic cost savings and implement procurement transformation.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of procurement regulations and contract lifecycle management.
Skilled in supplier relationship management, e-procurement platforms, and performance tracking.
Degree or postgraduate qualification.
Public sector or higher education procurement experience.
Knowledge of ESG, social value, and responsible procurement practices.
