Interim Administrator

Salary: £19.86 per hour (umbrella)
Our client, a women's charity, is seeking an organised, proactive, and motivated Administrator to support the effective day to day running of its Central Services. This varied role offers the opportunity to contribute across a range of functions, including office administration, HR and recruitment support, financial administration, health and safety coordination, and providing administrative support to the CEO and fundraising activities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation's operations run smoothly while delivering high quality support to colleagues, service users, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage office inboxes, calls, enquiries, post and filing systems.
- Coordinate meetings, training sessions and events, including agendas and minutes.
- Support purchasing, invoices, office supplies and financial administration.
- Help maintain a safe, well equipped office and support Health & Safety compliance.
- Coordinate recruitment administration, including job adverts, interviews, candidate communication and recruitment records.
- Provide general HR administrative support.
- Support the CEO with administrative tasks and assist with donor and fundraising communications.
- Maintain effective administrative systems and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- DBS Enhanced check required
- Strong office administration experience.
- Ability to provide a compassionate, non judgemental first response by telephone.
- Experience managing a range of administrative tasks and office systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workload.
- Knowledge of HR administration and Health & Safety.
- Experience producing statistical and monitoring reports.
- Self motivated, flexible, and able to take responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
