About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, focusing on intercompany projects. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be based at our HQ in London (Cannon Street) and work in our hybrid model. As Deliveroo scales rapidly, you will lead efforts to ensure intercompany accounting is robust, compliant, and efficient, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging systems like NetSuite to deliver impactful results.
What You'll Do- Oversee the audit and reconciliation of the intercompany matrix, ensuring accuracy and alignment between NetSuite and the Treasury Management System (Coupa), guiding the responsible team.
- Act as the senior point of contact for intercompany processes, coordinating with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, treasury, regional teams) to align objectives and resolve complex issues.
- Review and approve recommended actions and accounting entries to align intercompany balances across systems and records, ensuring compliance with group policies.
- Evaluate and enhance existing intercompany processes and controls, driving improvements for scalability, effectiveness, and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategic recommendations to ensure intercompany transactions comply with IFRS and group policies, fostering consistency.
- Champion automation and technology adoption to streamline workflows, collaborating with finance and tech teams to identify and implement solutions.
- Lead ad hoc intercompany projects, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with broader finance objectives.
- Mentor and develop a small team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and proactive culture.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification with 6-8+ years post-qualified experience, including senior finance roles.
- Proven expertise in overseeing intercompany processes, including multi-currency FX and complex subsidiary relationships, ideally in a global or fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite; familiarity with Coupa or similar Treasury Management Systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with data analytics tools like Looker is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of IFRS and technical accounting, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and mentoring.
- Proactive, pragmatic attitude with a 'can-do' approach, capable of navigating ambiguity and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in a relevant industry or high-growth startup, focusing on process optimisation and scalability is preferred.
